Peru: Women speak out against gender violence in Lima mass march

Thousands of women marched across the streets of Lima, Saturday, to condemn feminicides and other forms of violence against women in a mass demonstration dubbed 'Not One Less'.

SOT, Veronica Ferrari, participant in the march (Spanish): "Every day a woman dies from a feminicidal act and nine out of ten of us are harassed. Violence against us is extreme and we live from very small. 75% of the rapes in Peru are women under 18 years. And most of these violations occur at home."
